The original Christmas Carol dates back to long before the appearance of the religious holiday, a few thousand years back in fact. It rings in festivities, spreads a little cheer and warms up any frosty weather (how could you not associate Christmas with classics from Bing Crosby, Andy Williams and more recent artists Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé?). And lucky us as music lovers, each year Christmas coincides with album releases trimmed as perfectly as the Rockefeller Christmas Tree.
